Last morning at Elephant Plains

This morning was wet and cool. About an hour and a half into the drive, we had only seen impala and a vulture. We actually stopped at the impala, because of the weather, they weren't moving away from us, instead staying under a tree to try to keep dry.

But we eventually got to see rhino again! 3 of them. Because of the weather, they were laying down to keep warm rather than wandering around like the four the other night. So we stayed with them for about 10 minutes and got LOTS more pictures.

Then we saw a male kudu, with it's large, curly antlers. Some giraffe, and some zebra, all reasonably close with good picture opportunities.

We are packing up now to leave this camp and go to a more rustic one run by the national parks. UG is threatening to barracade us in the room and refuse to leave.
